Michael Lyman is the Security Practice Lead at TPP Global Solutions,   Michael provides security and risk assessments, security project implementation management, audit management, incident response management, and fractional CSO/CISO/CIO services to clients in a range of disciplines, from biotech to research and software development. The main focus of Michael’s security consulting work has been to help organizations see beyond just technical solutions and develop strategic responses to risk and threats.  
 
In addition to security consulting, Michael has successfully completed numerous IT integration and software development projects and has taught undergraduates, graduates, and professionals to manage projects, develop software, and improve security.   

Prior to joining TPP, Michael was the Director of the Global PMO in the APM business unit at Compuware Corporation, where he created a software development program that managed over 35 separate projects from a distributed engineering team with developers in the US, China, and Europe. He arrived at Compuware following their acquisition of Gomez, where he managed the company's IT department, responsible for IT operations in the US and China.

Michael has an MS in Internet Engineering from Marlboro College (VT) and an MA from Middlebury College (VT). He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), a Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), and is PMP certified by the Project Management Institute.
